Welcome back, Entrepreneurs

⏱ 3-min read

This issue: OpenAI turned Codex into a security reviewer. Coursera and Udemy merged into one skills giant. Claude arrived on AWS. And OpenAI built a company to deploy AI inside enterprises.

AI is no longer sitting in separate tools. It is becoming the layer inside code, cloud, learning, and work.

🔐 OpenAI Just Pointed Its Most Powerful Model At Your Codebase

OpenAI unveiled Daybreak, a new defensive AI stack that can read entire codebases, spot subtle vulnerabilities, validate patches, and reason about unfamiliar systems — all before attackers ever touch them. It runs through Codex Security with threat modeling, patch testing, and verification built in.

Daybreak runs on GPT-5.5-Cyber — built for red teaming and penetration testing. More capable. More permissive. The same AI that could attack, now pointed at defense.

Why it matters for builders: Security built in from the start beats security bolted on at the end. Every time. If your product handles sensitive data and you're still running quarterly audits, Daybreak just changed what your competitors are doing.

🔹Coursera + Udemy Just Merged Into One Skills Platform

Coursera and Udemy are now one company, creating what may be the world’s largest skills platform. Together they reach 290 million learners, 18,000 enterprise customers, and 95,000 instructors. The goal: move from a course catalog to a true skills engine built for the AI era. Nothing changes for learners or partners today, but a unified platform with a combined catalog and new AI tools is coming next.

🔹Claude Arrives on AWS

Anthropic just made the full Claude Platform available directly inside AWS — same‑day features, managed agents, code execution, skills, and web search, all running through AWS IAM and CloudTrail.
The real story is what happens when every AWS team can deploy AI agents at scale without leaving their existing infrastructure.

🔹OpenAI Just Built a Company for Deploying AI Into Everything

OpenAI created the OpenAI Deployment Company, a new unit built to embed Forward Deployed Engineers directly inside enterprises and rebuild critical workflows around AI. Backed by $4B and strengthened by the acquisition of Tomoro’s 150 engineers, it’s designed to help organizations turn frontier models into real operational systems. The question now is how fast businesses will reorganize around intelligence itself.

📊 Google Brought Gemini into Ads Reporting

Google Ads introduced Dashboards, a new Gemini‑powered way to see your campaign data without manual reporting. Metrics now load into interactive charts, graphs, and tables you can customize in seconds — no spreadsheets, no exports, no stitching views together. It’s a faster, clearer way to understand performance.

Google will share more at Google Marketing Live on May 20.

One agent, one brain, zero manual work.

Most AI tools forget you the moment the chat ends. SureThing doesn’t.

SureThing is an autonomous agent that can draft in your voice, triage what matters, follow up on things you forgot, and report back with what happened next.

Day 1, you onboard it.
Day 30, it knows your clients and patterns.
Day 90, it catches things you missed.

📝OpenAI Added Pets to Codex. Nobody Saw It Coming.

OpenAI did something nobody expected from a coding tool. They added pets.

Tiny, animated creatures that live in the corner of the app, thinking when your code processes, celebrating when it compiles, hiding when it errors.

Here's something people haven't realized yet: you can create a completely custom animated sprite with just one prompt. It takes only two minutes, and it will respond to your code indefinitely. The full guide — 5 steps, 8 ready-to-copy prompts — is on Medium.

📊Are you building agents yet — or still learning about them?

This Sunday Special: Google just reopened its free 5-Day AI Agents course — the one 1.5 million people took last time. McKinsey mapped how winning teams are rebuilding workflows around six agent types. And Anthropic revealed Claude used to blackmail users and exactly how they fixed it.

🧬Your Brain May Be Cleaning Itself Every Time You Walk

Scientists just published why movement matters more than anyone thought.

This week's AIHealthTech Insider: Issue #100 covers the Penn State brain finding, Mayo Clinic's AI catching cancer 3 years early, and the lawsuit about to force a major insurer to show how its AI was making decisions about elderly patients' lives.
