Google’s new work agent can use Anthropic’s Claude models. ChatGPT dots can now be created from your phone. And our latest DIY guide walks you through building a small game with AI.

Here’s what matters—and one experiment to try this weekend.

🧠 Google’s work agent can call on Claude

Google announced its Gemini agent on October 8, designed to handle work across connected business tools.

The surprising part: the agent and the underlying model are separate choices. Google says it can use both Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude models.

Three things to know:

  • It works across systems. Google describes connections to Workspace, Microsoft tools, Slack and other business software.

  • It can keep working. Cloud execution allows longer tasks to continue after you close your laptop.

  • It can divide the work. Temporary specialist agents can handle parts of a larger task.

Our take: For a small team, the useful question is whether an agent can finish a defined job with less supervision. A weekly project brief built from approved files could be a starting point.

Check access: This is a Google Cloud enterprise announcement. Availability, permissions and costs matter before you plan around it.

Yes, that Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He has a newsletter on beehiiv. So do Codie Sanchez, Jay Shetty, David Begnaud, Colin & Samir, and Joanna Stern.

They could publish just about anywhere. They chose beehiiv to build a direct connection with the people who want to hear from them most. And you can do the same, whether you’re world-famous or just at the start of your plan for world domination.

🔥 Two updates worth your attention

🔹You can now create a ChatGPT dot from your phone

OpenAI’s October 9 update adds dot creation in the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android.

Dots can also start work in Codex, follow up on existing threads, and review or edit scheduled tasks in ChatGPT Work.

Why it matters: You could hand off a task from your phone and follow up using context from earlier conversations.

Check access: This updates dots; it does not announce availability for every ChatGPT account.

🔹Ryan Serhant has a daily video series he doesn’t film daily

HeySerhant uses his official HeyGen avatar to deliver business, sales and branding lessons. According to HeyGen, Ryan recorded the avatar footage, and his team supplies the scripts.

The business idea: separate creating useful advice from repeatedly filming it. The writing and approval still need an owner.
