ChatGPT Can Now Turn Mac Activity Into Memories
ChatGPT Computer History is a new opt-in macOS feature that turns activity from approved apps and websites into memories for ChatGPT and Codex. When enabled, it turns activity from approved apps and websites into memories and a timeline that ChatGPT and Codex can use to resume work, find recent files, and identify repeatable workflows.

Highlights
Computer History is off by default and requires Memories to be enabled
Business and Enterprise workspaces require administrator approval and individual opt-in
It records interactions such as clicks, typing, and app switches—but not screenshots, screen recordings, audio, or private browsing
Users can choose which apps and websites are included, pause collection, and review or delete their history
Computer History is currently unavailable in the EEA, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom
Why it matters: Computer History gives ChatGPT and Codex continuity beyond individual chats, making it easier to resume work and automate recurring tasks while giving users control over what activity is recorded.

🔹GLM-5.3 Brings Stronger Coding and Emergent Cyber Capabilities
Z.ai released GLM-5.3, an open-weights model built on the same base as GLM-5.2, with all improvements coming from expanded post-training. The company reports a 50% coding-performance gain and more than double the results on some exploitation tests.
🔹Anthropic Will Add Invisible Watermarks to Claude’s AI-Generated Text
Anthropic will add invisible watermarks to text produced by future Claude models to comply with the EU AI Act. Anthropic plans to apply it globally and will soon offer a watermark-detection API.

Google Adds Visible Watermark Controls to Gemini Apps
Google added a setting that lets users turn visible watermarks on or off across AI-generated images, videos, and music in Gemini Apps. The setting applies across Gemini’s web and mobile apps but is unavailable for work and school accounts. In India, South Korea, and Vietnam, it requires an AI Ultra subscription.

The broader shift is giving users more control over how AI-generated media appears while keeping provenance protections in place. Turning off visible marks does not remove invisible SynthID watermarks or C2PA Content Credentials, which remain embedded to help identify media created or edited with Gemini.
